Wiggly Worm!
Flynn loves playing with play dough. Just recently he has started to make things out of it rather than just cut it up or put it in the toys that came with one if the sets. He had been making people but shouted me on Friday to come and look at his wiggly worm - he even found some things for the eyes! Flynn has such a great imagination.

Back to school
It was back to school this week for Ethan. One of the highlights was that he got to use his new backpack. He loved it as soon as he saw it and didn't want to look at any more.
So it's back to the old routines of pack lunches (I hate this job), homework, rushing in the mornings etc
Flynn starts back at nursery next week and can't wait!

Scrapping!
I've done lots of scrapping this Bank Holiday weekend and enjoyed getting some of my photos from our trip to London earlier this month done. This layout is using Shimelle's sketch this week and I love how it turned out. (Not the best photo as I used my iPhone)
Wonder how long I'll keep up blogging for!!!

DIY
A few months back we started work on our front room. We had been wanting to do it for a while and when the ceiling started falling down we got to work!
We took the chimney breast and then took the room back to brick and the whole ceiling down.
It was a very messy, dusty few weeks and at times I wondered what we were doing! We soon had it plaster boarded and the plasterer in. It then stayed like that for a while with life getting in the way of completing it. A few weeks ago John started work on it again and it is now almost done :-)
More to follow, should be fully done in the next week or two. After a weekend of shopping too I've got most of the accessories for the room too!

Well done Ethan!
At the weekend Ethan took part in this years sailing regatta at our sailing club. He did a great job and took part in all of the 3 races. Overall (39 sailors took part of all abilities) Ethan didn't come in last in hi little boat :-) In the junior section he got a 2nd place and was presented with a trophy!

Scrapping
I had a lovely evening last night with great friends - although the evening went far too quickly! I managed a couple of layouts, so not a bad evenings scrapping for me.
Thank you Carla for having us and to Debs and Sally too for a fabby evening.
Hoping to go to a new crop starting in a few weeks which is just round the corner from where I live :-)

A good day!
Today has been a good day starting off with the fantastic news Flynn will start nursery in January at the local school. This is going to be great for him but I'm realising he is growing up too quickly!
John then went off to the Sailing Club to look at a boat he was thinking of buying - he didn't in the end, it was a great price but needed a lot of work. He doesn't need it till spring and we have a slightly bigger budget so we are still on the look out.
Whilst John was there me and the boys went for breakfast at our local Wetherspoons.
It was then shopping time. Hobbycraft for some card and ribbon for Christmas gifts and a few other things fell into the basket! Then for this weeks food shop. We then nipped to my Grandma and Grandad's but they weren't in.
The rest of the day has been spent chilling and getting ready for tonight. A lovely evening with Carla, Sally and Debs.
